The “Flu Game” edition of the Air Jordan XII received its nickname because Mike was wearing them when he scored 38 points against the Utah Jazz in the 1997 playoffs, despite the fact that he was playing with a bad case of the flu. To commemorate the performance, this Retro version of the Flu Game Air Jordan XII will feature the year (97) and his scoring total (38) as well as a cartoon sick face placed between the laces on the tongue. In addition to the new Flu Game graphics that have been included on the new version, the material of the upper has also been switched to suede. Newly redesigned Retro card also included.
